When I read this quote, I thought to myself, I learned this very lesson, too. There was a point in my life when I was drawing caricatures in theme parks and put myself down a lot. I wanted to be better at drawing and didn’t really know what direction I wanted to take in life. One day, I made the decision to get busy and start learning how to draw.
The first thing I did was take a life drawing class as well as studied some of the great artists. When I started to believe in myself, I realized that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to do. It has been a way of life for me ever since.
So keep busy, keep practicing, stay positive and enjoy every moment.

Great quote and advice. I’ve been thinking of taking some figure drawing classes again. Does it really matter what type/style class i take? I’ve been to some ateliers here in town, but i’m thinking of maybe taking a class with Gnass or Vilppu. Have you ever taken their classes?
